No intro this week. Just articles.
- Lauren O’Neil of CBC’s Your Community blog reports on Paul Ingrisano a Brooklyn-based artist who has trademarked the symbol pi followed by a period. This led online t-shirt retailer Zazzle.com to temporarily remove all t-shirts containing the symbol pi (even without a period!) from its store. What a clusterfuck. Trademark and copyright laws are out of control in the United States.
- The video game industry’s annual dick-waving contest, the Electronic Entertainment Expo (a.k.a. E3) starts next week. Bob Chipman of The Escapist wonders what it would be like as a movie.
- Yannick LeJacq of Kotaku reports on a Twitter bot that tweeted over 100 000 words from the English language in alphabetical order. That twitter account is @everyword.
- Tim Colwill of games.on.net has a satirical review of Ubisoft Game, the upcoming open-world/sandbox game from Ubisoft. As someone who just finished playing the mediocre Watch Dogs, this hits home.
By the way, did you know that I wrote a 5000 word review of Watch Dogs this week? You should go read that.
That’s all for this week. Bye bye.
