It’s a brand new Sunday over here at Refrigerator Rants. Here’s what I’ve been reading:

  • Patrick Klepek of Kotaku writes about Denuvo DRM, the new anti-piracy tech that’s making some games almost impossible to crack. Is the age of video game piracy over? We’ll have to wait and see.
  • Alec Meer of Rock Paper Shotgun pens an awkwardly-written piece about ethics in Firewatch, but there’s some good stuff in there. [SPOILERS FOR THE GAME] Personally, I didn’t try to pursue Delilah, because I thought it would be unfair to Julia; infidelity is something I abhor.
  • Writing for Jacobin, Kate Robinson explains why she started self-identifying as a socialist, deciding to step away from the vicious culture wars. I increasingly find myself in the same boat.

That’s all for this week. Ciao.
