A quick one this week. I’m lazy.
- At his personal website, Konstantinos Dimopoulos writes about how to create the “illusion” of urban space in games.
- Paweł Zadrożniak obtained 64 floppy drives, eight hard drives, and a flatbed scanner. What did he do with them? He recreated the Star Wars theme. (Article by Carli Velocci of io9.)
- Finally, the devs over at Iron Tower Studio explain what you need to be successful as an indie studio. I think most of their points are intelligent, but they really underestimate the value of a community manager, especially for a larger indie studio.
Enough of this shit. Bye.
